Alaska Trip Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge
These are pictures we took while at Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge near the town of Talkeetna and very close to Denali State park. Notice I haven't said much about the food but hey, it's all been great. The cruise food was top notch, well prepared, wide variety, too much if you let it be. The lodges did a great job as well. We ate a lot of Salmon and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Not to mention Caribou meatloaf which was fantastic! One thing I do advise is if you are inclined, do a good bit of walking throughout the trip. It's hard not to but a bit more to help with that really good food. Both on the ship and on land Marty and I found ourselves walking at times when we could have ridden is say a shuttle or car but found it more benifical to walk and take in the sights. These weren't hikes but nice walks. Depends on what you want.
